The Tournament is run as 6 separate competitions:

• Morgans Kiama Sevens Cup: 16 team / 4 group tournament.
• Plate competition: Played by the losing semi-finalists.
• The Bowl: will be 8 team / 2 group tournament.
• The Men's Country Cup: will be 8 team / 2 group tournament.
• The Women's Country Cup: 4 team / 1 group tournament.
• The Women's Vase: will be 8 team / 2 group tournament.

• No nominations will be accepted from composite, representative or international sides.
• Nomination fee of $500 including Gow Gates insurance and 15 entry passes.
  Note: Clubs can buy extra entry passes before the tournament if more than the 15 included passes are required.
• Gate entry will be $10 for all. No exceptions.
• Prize money has increased this year to a minimum total of $38000 plus trophies.
• Minimum games increased to 3 with playing time increased to 7 minutes each way with a 1 minute half-time. (IRB sevens laws)
